Well the new year is just a few weeks away and all ready the marketing campaigns for weight loss are in full swing. TV ads promising pounds melting away, news stories on people who have dropped dramatic amounts of weight are popping up, newspaper pages offering deals if you join a gym/weightloss program by January 1st are in every week. All of these hoping to capitalize on the new year's resolutions of the Christmas cookie munching, eggnog swilling, candycane crunching public.
If you are willing to buy into all of that and throw out all of the chocolates and cookies, ice cream and gingerbread left over after Christmas and any other goodies that arrived in your stocking then go for it! But if you'd like to try something less drastic and longer lasting then keep checking back on this blog starting January 2012 for small easy steps to slow but steady changes to better health that will last and last and last. I'll be making manageable suggestions for you to make manageable changes to your current eating and exercise habits.
New year's resolutions - bah humbug! It's not now or never, it's what lasts forever. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you.
